We see you

If any of this sounds familiar,
you're in the right place.

It is the same argument on a different night, and it ends in the same place every time.
You run the household well together, and somewhere along the way you stopped feeling like a couple.
One of you wants to talk it through now, one of you needs space first, and both of you feel unheard.
The wedding planning is going beautifully, and the harder conversations still have not happened.
You are joining two families, two cultures, and two very different sets of expectations.
There is a list of small things you have stopped bringing up, and it keeps getting longer.
Two people can love each other and still be stuck in a pattern neither of them chose. Patterns can be changed.

Three ways to work together

What relationship coaching is,and what it isn't.

You deserve to know exactly what you’re signing up for. Here it is, in plain words.

What coaching IS Yes

  • Shared goals and a practical plan the two of you agree on
  • Communication skills you practice in session and use at home
  • Structured conversations about money, family, roles, and expectations
  • A neutral, experienced guide who is on the side of the relationship

What coaching is NOT No

  • It is not couples therapy, marriage counseling, or treatment.
  • It is not the right tool for a relationship in crisis, or for deciding whether to separate
  • It is not appropriate where there is abuse, violence, or fear of a partner
  • We happily work alongside a licensed therapist either of you already sees
If coaching is not the right fit for your situation, we will tell you in the first session and point you toward licensed professionals. If there is abuse or you feel unsafe, please contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233, available 24/7, or call 911 in an emergency.

Five simple steps

How it works

It starts with one 90-minute conversation. The rest, we walk together.

1

Initial Evaluation

A relaxed 45-minute online conversation where both of you get to say what you want from this.

2

A shared plan

Two or three goals you both actually agree on, in plain language, with no scorekeeping.

3

Sessions together

Weekly or biweekly online sessions as a couple, with small things to try during the week in between.

4

Individual training

Each partner also works one-on-one on their own side of the pattern, with everything kept transparent between the three of us.

5

Review, adjust, celebrate

What is working gets named out loud. What is not gets changed, without either of you being the problem.

Real life, real progress

What we work on together

The conversations that decide how a week between two people actually feels.

Communication that does not escalate

Say the hard thing in a way your partner can actually hear, and listen without preparing a defense.

Repair after conflict

Every couple argues. What separates steady couples is how quickly and how well they come back.

Money, roles & the invisible work

Name who carries what, including the planning nobody sees, and agree on something fairer.

In-laws, family & culture

Set boundaries with extended family that hold, and navigate two different sets of expectations.

Connection in a full week

Protect time for each other on purpose, so the relationship stops being the last item on the list.

Parenting as a team

Get on the same page about rules, routines, and support, so children are not caught between two answers.
Every plan is personalized, built around your goals as a couple, your strengths, and your real schedules.
HER OWN METHODOLOGY · SINCE 2008

Coached by someone who builds methodologies, not just gives advice

In 2008, Dr. Anupama developed BMSI, her own structured methodology, and founded her own practice, where it has guided families for over 18 years. The same discipline shapes her relationship coaching: name the pattern, agree on what better looks like, and practice it in ordinary weeks rather than only in session.

Both voices heard Sessions are structured so neither partner has to fight for the floor, and neither becomes the identified problem.
Patterns, not blame We work on the loop the two of you are caught in, which is a far more useful target than who started it.
Practice at home Skills are rehearsed in session and used in a normal week. That is where a relationship actually changes.
Good questions

Frequently asked questions

Is relationship coaching the same as couples therapy or marriage counseling?
No. Minds & Milestones offers educational coaching: shared goals, communication skills, and accountability. It is not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment, and it complements, never replaces, care from a licensed couples therapist or your doctor.
Most sessions work best with both partners present, since the goal is a shared plan. One partner can start alone and work on their own side of the pattern, and many couples begin exactly that way.
Pre-marital coaching is a structured set of conversations before the wedding: money, roles, family and in-laws, faith and culture, children, careers, and how the two of you will handle conflict. It is planning the marriage, not the wedding.
Coaching is not the right tool for deciding the future of a relationship in crisis. In that situation we will say so plainly and point you toward licensed couples therapists or family professionals who work with exactly that.
Coaching is not appropriate or safe where there is abuse, violence, or fear of a partner. Please contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233, available 24/7, or call 911 in an emergency.
Yes, and most couples do. Part of the value of a structured session is that a subject you have avoided for years finally has a container, a time limit, and someone neutral in the room.
Yes. Sessions are held over secure video, so both partners can join from anywhere in the country, together on one screen or from two different locations.
Your Initial Evaluation is $150 for a 45-minute online session with both partners. Ongoing coaching is available as individual sessions or flexible packages tailored to your goals.
We do not accept insurance. Minds & Milestones is private pay, with flexible packages tailored to individual needs. You can pay by PayPal, Zelle, check, or wire.
We’ll say so, and point you toward qualified licensed professionals. Coaching works best as one part of a well-rounded support network.
